The polish remains intact even if the piece comes in contact with water several times. However, to maintain a long lasting shine , do not shower in the jewellery everyday. 4. Handwashing in water is fine 5. The polish can typically last between 1-3 years depending on how well you take care of the pieces. The silver polish on stainless steel jewellery may last for many years.
